Dr Radhika Srivastava Adholeya

Community Health Expert, Practising Clinician, Healthcare Expert

Executive Director, Founder - Uniworld Care

Winner of Women Entrepreneurship Award from The Department of Science and Technology

Dr Radhika’s story began as the only doctor in her family. Practising medicine for 20 years had her understand the gaps in the health system and the challenges of the patients closely. “Every wrong decision takes patients away from their goal of getting better.” She says.

Dr Radhika has streamlined this entire process of treatment and follow-up care in a website called Uniworld Care to redefine the health ecosystem with the help of technology-driven solutions.

Uniworld Care is a team of medical advisors providing clinical services through digital health platforms like teleconsultation, tele-counselling, and tele-education to patients suffering from panic, fear, anxiety, stress, and depression created by the lockdown. They have also established a group called “FIGHT CORONA,” wherein they are actively informing people about guidelines, medication, list of testing centres and clearing their doubts and misconception.

With this medium, they are actively leading patients to recovery and mental well-being via diet, exercise, timely interventions, special attention to the elderly, and those living by themselves. This has been an add on to her efforts of Telemedicine solutions “UPCHAR Clinic,” and EMR/ Health Card (Health Patri) started earlier.

Dr Radhika believes in doing impactful work that “helps millions of people and will outlive me is what I define as success.” She adds, “I look forward to helping my patients as much as I can, to justify my role as a health care provider. And lastly, let me be a role model to the many middle-class small-town women who want to chase their dreams.”

Dr Radhika Shrivastava is one among the groups of women trained by Women Entrepreneurship and Empowerment (WEE), India’s first of its kind initiative by IIT Delhi and Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, to enable and encourage women to join the Start-up Eco System.

She is the recipient of Senior Research Fellowship of ICMR, International HTA fellowship, Six Sigma Green belt & NABH assessor ship, apart from her professional degrees, MBBS, MS & MBA. She has worked in many govt. & corporate hospitals like Northern Railway Central Hospital ( NRCH), Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi & Columbia Asia Hospital. She has her own clinic in Sector 7 Dwarka, New Delhi.
